Mockingbird Bakes started with a simple love for baking and sharing homemade treats with the people around me. What began as late-night recipe testing and gifting warm cookies to friends has grown into a cozy microbakery based in my home kitchen in Leander, Texas.

 

After spending 19 years in corporate IT at Dell, renovating homes alongside my husband, and then working as a real estate broker,  I've learned that the best things are built with care, patience, and attention to detail. Those values shape every batch of cookies I make.

 

I'm passionate about creating cookies people genuinely crave. From browning butter until it's rich and nutty to carefully selecting high-quality ingredients, every recipe is crafted to bring comfort, nostalgia, and a little indulgence with every bite.
