Mockingbird Bakes is a small batch cookie kitchen with six rotating flavors each month, all baked with lots of care. Every now and then, when I am especially excited about something new, I will sneak in a surprise flavor just for fun.

My Cookie Journey
Mockingbird Bakes began as a simple love for baking and sharing sweets with the people around me. What started as late night recipe testing and gifting warm cookies to friends slowly grew into something much bigger. A passion, a creative outlet, and eventually a cozy microbakery built from my home kitchen in Leander, Texas.

Before Mockingbird Bakes, I spent 19 years in corporate IT at Dell, building a career rooted in precision, problem solving, and consistency. Alongside that, my husband and I flipped and remodeled homes, where I discovered a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and creating something beautiful from the ground up. Today, I also work as a real estate broker, helping others find places to call home. All of those experiences shape how I approach baking. Thoughtful, intentional, and quality driven.

I fell in love with the process of perfecting flavors. Browning butter until it’s nutty and golden, sourcing high quality mostly organic ingredients, and creating cookies that feel nostalgic, comforting, and just a little elevated. I don’t focus on being TikTok or Instagram worthy. My priority is simple. The cookies must taste incredible first.
Mockingbird Bakes was born from that joy and from wanting to create something warm and meaningful for my community. Each cookie is handcrafted in small batches with care, intention, and ingredients you can feel good about.
