Mockingbird Bakes began as a simple love for baking and sharing sweets with the people around me. What started as late-night recipe testing and gifting warm cookies to friends slowly grew into something much bigger - a passion, a creative outlet, and eventually, a cozy little microbakery built from my home kitchen in Leander.

I fell in love with the process of perfecting flavors: browning butter until it’s nutty and golden, sourcing high-quality mostly organic ingredients, and creating cookies that feel nostalgic, comforting, and just a little bit elevated. The more I baked, the more I realized how much joy it brought not only to me, but to everyone who took a bite.  I don't focus on being Tik Tok or Instagram worthy.  I want my cookies to taste great #1!

 

Mockingbird Bakes was born from that joy - from wanting to create something warm and meaningful for my community. Each cookie is handcrafted in small batches, made with intention, care, and ingredients you can feel good about.

 

Today, it’s more than a hobby. It’s a little piece of my heart, shared through soft, cozy cookies that bring people together one bite at a time.
